What is REALLY going on here?

Filed under: What is really going on here? — exclusivelyexclusive2 @ 10:30 pm

Heath Ledger is dead and I am distraught. Not because I was in lust with him or a huge fan of his.

The reason I am so distraught is because it was so unexpected. We all know there are some celebrities that we wouldn’t be surprised to hear died. But Heath? Not Heath.

And he has a 2 year old daughter. Now, she has no father.

Dear Celebrities,

This is not funny. We want you guys to live. If this means pulling away from celebrity, i.e. not being in the public eye, abandoning your careers, then fine.

We’d rather you fade into obscurity, but still be alive. That’s what CDs, DVDs, VHS, cassette tapes, etc., are for. For us to hold onto the great music/movies/TV shows/etc. that you once made.  But if you can’t do the celebrity thing anymore, it’s ok. We understand. We won’t hold this against you.

Becoming a legend post-humously is not sexy. It’s just sad.

I’m sure if Kurt Cobain could do it all over again, he wouldn’t pull that trigger.

So Amy (Winehouse) and Britney (Spears) I hope you will see what happed to Heath as a cautionary tale and get help.

  1. I tell you I’m weeping, just weeping over all that man that is now… Rest in peaces Heath.

  2. So sad, why couldn’t it have been one of the other drunken, drugged up tabloid sluts, WHY!? We miss you Heath. Exex, can you get your letter to the press. It must be read by ET.

  3. In the words of Anderson Cooper, “It’s like a Stilletto through my heart.”

  4. Yes, it is like a stilletto through the heart! And no one is taking it seriously. Man, there needs to ba cultural intervention. If we stopped glamourizing drugs, sex and rock and roll–as a culture–so many more stars would LIVE.

  5. And D’Andre, good to see you back, you too, Amy.

  6. And ET, E!, MTV & VH1 and all those tabloids and what nots would Die! Unfortunately I dont’ think they are going to stop until this reaches an obscene level…

  7. You’re right, Lipgloss. Besides, what would I have to blog about if we gave up our obsession? Not nearly as much. LOL.
