And I love it (c) Jeezy

This news really made me pay attention yesterday:

Apparently, Wendy Williams’ booker filed an EEOC complaint against WBLS cause she says Wendy’s husband repeatedly asked if he could f*&k her and even beat up Wendy in the studio.

The booker also claims to have eye witnesses, including a human resources rep at WBLS, who told her to stay away from Wendy’s husband after she overheard him proposition the booker.

While I don’t delight in anyone’s misfortune, the truth is that Wendy does: she regularly delights in the misfortunes of celebs and makes fun of them. Now, the shoe is on the other foot. Hmmm…I wish I could have listened to her show yesterday to see if she addresses the suit.

In the “What is REALLY going on here” files:

Did you hear that the governor of NY just announced that he once had sex with a monkey, bare back in a Days Inn motel?  He then admitted that he later took the monkey home and gave it to his children as a gift.  WTF.  Can someone please tell him to stop talking?

Coonery and bufoonery

Ok, I totally stole this from another person’s blog, but this is worth the theft. Feast your eyes on this:

Pocket Songs karaoke CDs. LOL.

Why not just give the lady in the first photo red lips and white gloves. And look how they have that little boy done up like a small Sambo. You know the photographer was like, “Wider, make that mouth wider! I wanna see your back teeth.”

But not only are these photos stereotypical, they are also dated. These pictures look like they were taken in 1992 and the company didn’t want to pay to update them for the new millenium.

But don’t think they’re just stereotyping us blacks. They’re equal opportunity offenders:

They put a leprechaun on the cover of the “Irish Classics” karaoke CD. Where is the protest? LOL.

But I can’t front, I do wanna buy the R. Kelly one. But where is Thoia Thoing?

And on that note, I leave you with this final thought:

“We in the house so there aint no rules, I’m butt nekkid, sweat socks and house shoes-a!”
